Donation Drives for Rescues: At Paws for Progress, we’re excited to partner with Neshama Rescue and Facilitate Rescue to support their incredible mission of rescuing and rehoming animals in need. Through our Donation Drives for Neshama and Facilitate Rescue, we are collecting much-needed items to help the organization continue their life-saving work.
How You Can Help: We are collecting items like pet food, blankets, leashes, collars, cleaning supplies, and other essential pet care items. Please donate these items at Hollywood Feed at Chapel Hill, Feeders Pet Supply in Cary, and Carpenter Animal Hospital.
Volunteering Events with Love Mutts Rescue: Join us for a rewarding day of service with Love Mutts Rescue, a dedicated nonprofit that rescues and rehomes dogs in need. Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including walking dogs, assisting with adoption events, socializing with the animals, and supporting the rescue team in creating a safe, loving environment for every animal.

No prior experience is necessary — just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to help! Volunteers will work alongside refuge staff to feed, groom, clean, and socialize with the animals, making this a perfect chance to connect with nature and furry friends alike.
